Made in Oregon

Sometimes we have to travel 2,000 miles to find artisans who practically live next door. That's what happened at market (in Atlanta) last month. I turned the corner in one convoluted little section of booths, and there was a lovely display of artisan pewter: measuring spoons, spoon rests, salt dishes... I looked a little closer and discovered that the company was based in Eugene: everything designed and made right there. Whaaat? That's the kind of find that makes me hop around doing a little happy dance. Their work is beautiful, and locally made.

It just does not get better than that.

We just received our first shipment, and I love it even more now that it's in the store. Fabulous gifts, beautifully presented (everything comes in either a little gift box or pouch, with the company info). Here are just a few pictures from this new collection. Come see!
