Fresh color at the table

We're really excited about all our new tableware and serving pieces starting to arrive for the season. There's new glassware, dishes, linens, bowls... some is already in the shop; some still on the road (hope we have room for it all!). This is just a little sampling.

Bamboo salad/fruit bowls in two sizes; salad servers are separate for mix & match

Piles of nice cotton napkins to add some color; instant spring

New runners, faux bois charger, rustic dinner plate...

Runners, napkins in brighter tones.

A burst of color: spring scarves

It is officially spring, and that means we can start wearing silk-weight scarves. More colorful scarves. Even if you have to wear them with your down jacket. These colors and designs make me so happy, whether added to an outfit for a pop of color, or draped across a table as a pretty runner (Easter brunch/dinner is exactly one week from now).

Desk accessories to love (and some favorites for the easter basket)

If you have to spend any time at all sitting in an office (even if it's a desk in the kitchen), nice desk accessories make the job just a little sweeter. This afternoon was mostly spent trying to find space in our little 'writing area' for all our new arrivals, from funky and cute Japanese tape dispensers, to sticky notes, journals, washi tape, and tiny organizers.

Even though I'm way past the eligible age for receiving an easter basket, I still like to get some cute little things on Easter; along the lines of small journals, cool pencils (#4 lead for this girl), paper of any kind. Thank you, Easter Bunny!
Adorable Paris globe (it's the whole world!)

Handy hand clips to hold notes (postcard is mini size)

Lots of great new journals and notebooks

Journals for birders.

Notebooks, tape flags, Italian clipiola clips, washi tape.

Magnet/chalkboard with new magnets; the wire "carte" holder keeps business cards handy.

More cute notebooks, and faux-camera tape dispenser.

You don't have to travel anywhere to love using these journals & sticky notes

Must. Have. Vintage. Trailer.

Did you happen to see this wonderful article in the most recent Central Oregon Living (a special publication from the Bulletin)? Once you're in the magazine, flip to page 7 for the article called "Vintage Transformations," all about one couple's quest to fix up and restyle lovely vintage trailers. I knew about this company (Flyte Camp) and know one of the owners from our shop (where she sometimes finds little treasures to incorporate into one of their finds). But I didn't know how beautiful and perfect and delicious their trailers are, once they perform their magic on them. Wow. I so admire the detail and effort that goes into it. I'm not even a trailer/camping kind of girl, but I know I'd enjoy one of these beauties. Someday you may see us tootling around on the coast in a fixed-up vintage trailer...

Tutti a tavola!

Everybody to the table! It's one of our favorite expressions. Just received a big shipment of all our fabulous French bistro glasses and bowls (bees, dragonflies, etc.), including some new styles we really love. There's more for the kitchen, new cookbooks (such great gifts), and new serving pieces. Stop by and see!

This lovely bistro glass is meant for absinthe, but is great for water, iced tea, beer...

Bonjour! New café au lait mugs are so cute (and are great for cereal, too).

Every kitchen needs a cool chicken timer.

Vintage cloissoné vase on left; Japanese eggplant jar on right
(great for jam, tea, condiments... you can also bake a custard in it)

New footed bistro glass: simple and perfect for wine
(and everything else)

French olive oil jar (new collection)

Our simple, modern "vin" glasses are back. Red, white, rosé?

Oh, baby!

We're always adding to our little baby and kid's attic room at Pomegranate. We found lots of fun things at market, and they're starting to roll in now. We have some great gifts for the little ones. Take a look:

These bears, bunnies, and dogs unroll to become a cozy blankie. SO cute.

New Jellycat bunnies and soft, sweet puppets.

Adorable night lights: love this little camp scene.

Felt mobile from Nepal.

Fun felted purses for girls who like color.

More of our new night lights. Everyone needs one!

Retro Paris puzzle.

Sweet Seats! A wonderful product, made in Texas.

Bravo for bowls (and trays)

We might have gone a little overboard with the bowl purchases at market. But we do love them. A gorgeous bowl is a work of art in itself, something you can leave on a dining or coffee table, empty. A bowl or a tray is a great housewarming – or anytime – gift.

I especially love these gorgeous, organic wood bowls and trays we've been amassing at the shop. Some are cedar root, some teak. The flatter trays would be great paired with a couple of our Laguiole cheese spreaders, for a beautiful cheese and cracker presentation. Starting at about $16.
