Hey mama!

Yep, Mother's Day is right around the corner (Sunday, May 8), and we are ready for you with great cards and gifts for moms of all ages. And – I have to repeat this every year – you don't have to be an actual mom to celebrate. You can be a kitty mom. An honorary mom. A good, all-around mom-type person. I don't have my own kids, but I do have my little Jilly dog, and I expect her to bring me breakfast in bed on Mother's Day. Right.

One thing we wanted to do this year is up the offerings in our little stationery department – it's right up our alley and we love good paper! Our latest arrivals are from kate spade, inc and it's all going on my wish list. There are beautiful journals, cards, stationery, lovely and fun office accoutrements, the best guest book ever, gorgeous pens, notepads, and more. Love love love. And we brought in some fab paper, party, and office goodies from russell + hazel, alexa pulitzer, mr. boddington's studio, cavallini, three designing women (beautiful custom stamps), my mind's eye, and more.

Just in the last week, we received some lovely spring/summer scarves in silk, ranging from stunning black and white designs (goes with everything), to pale, diaphanous wraps that add color and texture to that dress you're going to wear to a wedding. There's more in the soaps and lotions department, including a fresh new crop of products in the Thymes Goldleaf Gardenia collection (one of our favorite new scents, now in a candle, too), and more goodies from Inis – our lovely Irish company (loving the tiny new pot of solid perfume). Love love love the goat's milk hand creams from Beekman 1802 (the large size in the wooden box with tin lid is a perfect gift). We have new jewelry, new serving pieces, artwork, garden goodies (check out the kid's garden gifts – too stinkin' cute!), linens and so much more.
