We're really kind of stunned to realize that we've been in business (and at the same location) for 15 years. Not sure how that all happened so fast, but here we are. The moms who came in pregnant in our early days are now shopping with – gulp – teenagers! The little kids who entertained themselves on the lawn with our Mollie dog (while mom shopped) are now graduating from college (or beyond). It's been a fun roller coaster (whoeee, especially the last five years), and we are
eternally grateful for our dear clientele, who have kept us going all this time. You know, when you support small, local businesses, this is what happens: we
survive. We don't go away. We stay in the community and spend our income here, we donate to local causes, we pay taxes, and even hire a person or two when things are good. Yay!
We are so thankful for you.
We're so excited about this Saturday's 15th anniversary celebration (June 15, from 11-5 at our shop). There will be libations. There will be nibbles to eat. There will be live music (in the a.m.). The weather will be wonderful (even if today was cruddy). And, we've got a great big sale planned, door prizes, specials and treats.
Start with the entire store being 15% off. You get an additional 15% off sale items, too. We never, ever do this, so you don't want to miss it!
The shop is full of new arrivals and great Father's Day gifts (yes, that too!). Here is just a random selection of things that might interest you (and there's
so much more, as always).
